Description
Long Roots. Many years ago I saw a cross section of grass and the roots from the dry years of the 1930's. I have never forgotten how long the roots were in their quest for water. This image is a reminder that currently in some areas roots will have a long reach to find water. The tops of the plants are dry and dusty. This image has been prettied up but the matter is serious.

Such a captivating painting with a lesson for all of us to learn!! i can totally see your vision and intention!! for me this artwork remind me of lava, magma and volcanoes!! i feel i am looking at a cross section of our own planet and the vertical red lines are tunnels for the lava to come to the surface, and where the darker colours are is where the volcanoes erupt with flames and so on. Super fantastic art!! L/F
