Description
I live in a fire zone. In my years living in Kelowna, BC, I've seen devastating fire locally. This past summer the fires are even more so. The fires in Washington, Oregon and California have been horrific. Smoke darkens the sky for many, many miles. I have made other paintings on this subject because it is such an issue and touches many lives, animals and of course, the environment. This image portrays the fire, smoke and the darkness.

Hi Louise! This is 1 of my favorite pieces that you have done, (there are quite a few more). To my understanding, composition is one of the very most important aspects of any type of artist production, you nailed it here. Additionally, I’d like to thank you for your kind words regarding my work, you were he 1st person to comment on it since I joined up here a few weeks ago.

Wow magnificent painting of fire and smokes!! i have never seen such darkness so beautiful before!! you added a lot of hope and care and positive energy into this painting and turned a negative situation into a positive reminder for all, that fire affect a lot of lives, from plant to animal to humans etc. and we must be careful about it. Really wonderful art!! L/F
