This image is very experimental and different. I used a large sheet of embossed origami paper as the base. Then I experimented with covering over areas with marker and a fairly translucent paper to see what came through. Portions were outlined with black pen and gold leaf pen. It has an Asian feel with contemporary flourishes. It is bold and delicate at the same time.
Welcome to the art of Louise M Adams. The common element in my gallery is my love of bold bright colours, shapes and line. Experimentation and exploration drive my work. My images are always changing and evolving! I like to have fun with my paintings. I am originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba but now reside in Kelowna, BC in the beautiful Okanagan Valley.
