Autumn Sonata is one of four encaustic paintings reflecting the seasons. The four seasons each have very distinct colours associated with them. Autumn is the season of rich yellows, oranges and reds. These images are made on a collage of sheet music from a Joan Baez songbook from the 1960's.
Welcome to the art of Louise M Adams. The common element in my gallery is my love of bold bright colours, shapes and line. Experimentation and exploration drive my work. My images are always changing and evolving! I like to have fun with my paintings. I am originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba but now reside in Kelowna, BC in the beautiful Okanagan Valley. Canada has always been home. I have had a lifelong love of art. There has always been a very large creative streak in me. I was introduced to a love and appreciation of all things artistic by some Winnipeg art notables as a teenager.
